# Get a virtual bank account

> Retrieve a single virtual bank account by ID.

Returns the virtual bank account, including its IBAN/BIC and the `referenceCode` to quote on incoming transfers so settlement is matched to this account.

    ## Authentication


    All endpoints use OAuth2 client credentials. Obtain a token first, then
    include it in every request:


    **Step 1 — Get a token:**

    Tokens expire after **5 minutes**. Implement refresh logic in your client.
