# List supported assets

> Discover which chains and assets your tenant can settle in.

**Requires any one of:** `manage:transfers` or `manage:pay-in-sessions` or `manage:accounts` — see [Required scopes](/getting-started/authentication#required-scopes-finance-api).

Returns every chain/asset pair enabled for your tenant. Read this at runtime instead of hard-coding a list — the set is configured per tenant and can change without an API version bump.

Two things this drives:

* **Asset pickers.** Show the end-user only what your tenant can actually settle in.
* **Naming an asset explicitly.** When a fiat currency maps to more than one asset — USDC on two chains, both denominated in USD — fiat transfers need an explicit `chain` + `asset` pair. This tells you which currencies are in that position.

<Note>This returns what the **tenant** is enabled for, not what a given account can use today. An account also needs an allowance in place before it can move an asset — use [List account supported assets](/api-reference/Finance-API/supported-assets/list-account-supported-assets) for that.</Note>

See [Supported chains and assets](/guides/finance/supported-chains-and-assets).

    - Webhook registration for asynchronous event delivery

    ## Authentication

    All endpoints use OAuth2 client credentials. Obtain a token first, then
    include it in every request:

    **Step 1 — Get a token:**

    ```bash
    curl -X POST
    https://login.venly.io/auth/realms/VenlyFinance/protocol/openid-connect/token
    \
      -H "Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded" \
      -d "grant_type=client_credentials&client_id={CLIENT_ID}&client_secret={CLIENT_SECRET}"
    ```

    **Step 2 — Use the token:**

    ```
    Authorization: Bearer {access_token}
    ```

    Tokens expire after **5 minutes**. Implement refresh logic in your client.
